The Ministry of Education announced the other matters of performance guarantee which shall and shall not be specified in cram school service contract of short-term cram schools via the Tai-Jao-She-(1)-1070209883A Directive of December 22, 2018 (hereinafter, the "Directive").

According to this Directive, performance guarantee insurance is one of the other manners of performance guarantee approved by the Ministry of Education under point 11, subparagraph 5 of the other matters of performance guarantee which shall and shall not be specified in cram school service contract of short-term cram schools. Therefore, this Directive requires a short-term cram school to indicate the reference number of the official document indicating the approval of the Ministry of Education in a conspicuous place of the contract and to specify the following method of performance guarantee: "Party A has obtained NT$OO performance guarantee insurance as the performance guarantee for handling the cram school services (the minimum insured amount shall be NT$2 million), and the term of such insurance shall be from ______ [date] (execution date) to _____ [date] (at least one year)."  」
