Aaron Chen is a partner at Lee, Tsai & Partners. He specializes in competition law, intellectual property, the Company Act, arbitration and dispute resolution.
Aaron has over 15 years of experience advising clients in all types of competition law and Fair Trade Act related matters. Mr. Chen has a proven record of successfully representing clients in landmark concerted action and monopoly investigations brought by the Taiwan Fair Trade Commission and related administrative and civil actions. Mr. Chen also routinely provides advice on obtaining pre-merger approvals and other competition law matters to clients in a wide range of industries. Mr. Chen currently acts as the Chairperson of the Competition Law Committee of the Taipei Bar Association and as the Commissioner of the Fair Trade and Consumer Relationship Commission, Chinese National Federation of Industries. He is frequently invited to speak and participate in seminars on competition law issues.
Mr. Chen regularly advises clients on their investments and corporate governance matters, including representing clients in management and ownership disputes and advising clients on the operations of board and shareholders meetings. Mr. Chen also frequently assists clients on intellectual property protection and licensing matters and all aspects of the mergers and acquisitions process.
Mr. Chen has rich experience in arbitration and litigation, including successes in representing clients before the Chinese Arbitration Association (CAA), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), and the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC).
